What is painting? To answer this question, instead of unveiling the painting itself, I had to cover what is not painted, by masking the various layers that make up the painting that only turned out to be: the medium density fiberboard panel, the acrylic gesso layer and finally the oil painting. The panel was bought in a large mall that left its mark with a barcode label that I conveniently left on top of it. I believe that painting is nothing but matter.
